The common brown rat has to be one of our worst pests - we can all live with a few bugs here and there , but the thought of rats in our homes and businesses is a horrible one. They are carriers of many diseases plus there is the damage that can be caused to property such as chewed cables, which brings a risk of fire. Their gnawing habits know no bounds and the bad odour of urine and faeces is unpleasant as well. Their presence could ruin the reputation of a good business which is why keeping on top of rats is all important.
